ADVANCED MEDIATION TRAINING:
A MEDIATION SKILLS DEEP DIVE
Ever ask yourself, “I’ve reflected…now what?” What about, “When do I build an agenda?” Or, “Did I gather enough information? Too much?” Or, just, “OMG. What do I do now?” If so, this training is for you.
In our Advanced Mediation Training, we go beyond the basics and take a deep dive into trickiest parts of mediation. From suspending biases and building an agenda, to generating options and agreement writing, this training will expand your comfort zone and tackle the most challenging aspects of mediation.
Through hands-on exercises, extensive role plays, group discussion, and of course movie clips and pop culture, our advanced training will build your mediator muscle memory. Whether you just completed your Basic Mediation Training or have been mediating for years, this training provides an opportunity to receive focused coaching as you practice your craft in the company of experienced professionals. In short, if you liked Basic Mediation Training, you will love our deep dive.
Our lead trainer and CEO, Brad Heckman, has over 20 years of experience in the mediation field and has trained thousands of mediators throughout Eastern Europe, the Balkans, South Caucasus, Latin America, and the former Soviet Union – in addition to New York. Brad has trained mediators from all walks of life, from NASA and the UN to the NYPD. Read Brad’s blog here!
Trainees will also benefit from other presenters and coaching from our expert staff and our community of New York Peace Institute mediators.
