Employment for DR professionals expected to grow 14.6% by 2020
The New York State Department of Labor projects that employmentopportunities for arbitrators, mediators and conciliators are expected to grow by 14.6 percent between 2010 and 2020 in the Finger Lakes region. As of May 2012, the median annual wage was $61,280.
Non-Profit Revitalization Act of 2013 Amendments Take EffectAs of today, July 1, 2014, amendments to the Non-Profit Revitalization Act of 2013 will take effect. These significant changes include laws to strengthen and streamline the oversight and governance processes and to simplify procedures of the administration. Annual reporting requirements, conflict-of-interest and whistleblower policies, and incorporating electronic communications are a few examples of the provisions.
Annual Conference Registration Opening Soon!
We know we originally said conference registration would open "late spring" but it's just that we received so many wonderful, cutting-edge workshop proposal topics that we needed just a little while longer to sort through them all. The result is, what we think, an exquisite representation of New York State's many "peaces" of innovation. Stay tuned for the email announcing registration has opened.
We hope to see you October 26-27 in Syracuse. Members receive a significant discount on registration so please consider
