Annual Conference Recap
Central New York was abuzz this past week as NYSDRA held our annual conference at the Embassy Suites in Syracuse. By moving the location of the conference a bit to the west, we wanted to draw participation from the central and western parts of the state. It certainly worked since the conference sold out! Amidst casual conversations and early survey feedback, it seems as though it was very well received and participants enjoyed the sessions offered. You can view a photo compilation video here.
Mark your calendars for next year's conference, NYSDRA's 30th anniversary, as we bring it back to the Albany area in late October.
Thank you to all who attended and for your continued support.
Brad Heckman, NYSDRA Board Member, Conducts Mediation Training for NASA
Brad Heckman, New York Peace Institute CEO and NYSDRA board member, had the distinct honor of celebrating Conflict Resolution Week by traveling to NASA's Johnson Space Center and providing training for staff, directors and, yes, astronauts.
