Learn to help divorcing couples separate with dignity. February 8th-10th, we hold our Divorce Mediation Training, led by the eminent Bob Collins. Divorce mediation helps clients "pass through this difficult period without destroying the ability to talk and parent together."

This 3-day advanced training will enable mediators to practice in the complex field of divorce mediation. By the end of the training, participants will be grounded with the legal information, financial tools, mediation interventions, and personal dynamics required to act competently in the complex practice of divorce mediation. The training will cover parenting plans, child support, asset division, spousal support, taxes, insurance, and divorce filing procedures.

CLE Credit
New York State attorneys receive 17 Professional Practice hours and 5.5 Skills hours.

About the Trainer
Robert Collins, Esq., has practiced and taught divorce mediation for the past thirty years.  He currently serves as Director of the Divorce Mediation Clinic at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and teaches at the Ackerman Institute for the Family. He is considered one of most experienced family mediators in New York City, and is cited by Cardozo Law School as being among “the pioneers of divorce mediation in New York.”
