Yvonne R. Marin

Yvonne R. Marin is a Court Attorney Referee for the New York State Unified Court System and serves as the Alternative Dispute Resolution Coordinator and the Part 137 Attorney Client Fee Dispute Resolution Program Administrator for the 10th Judicial District–Nassau County. In her role as ADR Coordinator, Ms. Marin is responsible for providing technical assistance to the Administrative Judge in the development and implementation of ADR protocols and guidelines, maintenance of neutral rosters, communication of available resources to court personnel and serving as a direct point of contact for ADR matters. 


Ms. Marin also serves as a liaison between the Court and the Bar, Community Dispute Resolution Centers, volunteer law school clinics, and volunteer mediators and evaluators. As the Fee Dispute Administrator, Ms. Marin oversees all aspects of the District’s Fee Dispute Resolution Program, including screening of cases, appointments of arbitrators and communication with the public regarding the Program’s policies and procedures. Ms. Marin is also involved various administrative projects within the Court on an as needed basis. 
 
Previously, Ms. Marin was appointed as Principal Court Attorney under the NYS UCS’s Excellence Initiative where she was assigned to the Supreme Court Law Department in Bronx County from 2017 to 2020.  From 2007 to 2017, Ms. Marin served as Principal Law Clerk to the Hon. Gloria M. Dabiri, in Supreme Court, Kings County. 
 
She is an alumna of St. John’s University School of Law and her received her undergraduate degree from SUNY Binghamton.
