Strengthening Access to Justice
Through Mediation
For over 40 years, NYSDRA has supported the Community Dispute Resolution Centers across New York State by helping communities respond to conflict and advanced access to justice for all new Yorkers.
Support the Future of Dispute Resolution in New York State
Through leadership, education, promotion of professional standards and training and development, NYSDRA provides opportunities for people, communities, organizations and businesses to effectively respond to conflict.
As New York State's ADR network we strive to provide the latest resources and professional development opportunities for ADR professionals to serve those in conflict. We seek to increase awareness of our field to empower New Yorkers to create their own solutions. Donations are vital to supporting our mission. Your contributions go towards alleviating Community Dispute Resolution Center (CDRC) program administration fees, research, paid internships, CDRC grant & seed funding, and pilot program funding.
Support the Cooke Legacy Fund
Your contribution to the Lawrence H. Cooke Fund directly supports Community Dispute Resolution Centers across all 62 counties in New York State. These centers provide essential services including mediation, conflict resolution, and restorative justice programs that help individuals, families, and communities resolve disputes peacefully and effectively.
Over the next three years, we aim to raise $1,500,000 to support our statewide network of Community Dispute Resolution Centers. This ambitious but achievable goal will allow us to serve everyone, regardless of financial status, while expanding innovative programs that strengthen the relationship between our centers and the courts they serve.
The fund eliminates financial barriers, making our services truly inclusive and accessible to all who need them.
