The New York State Dispute Resolution Association (NYSDRA) is proud to be an accredited provider of both Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) credits in New York State. Through this dual accreditation, NYSDRA supports high-quality professional learning for both legal and educational professionals engaged in conflict resolution and dispute management.


As an accredited CLE provider, NYSDRA offers state-approved training that meets New York State CLE Board requirements while advancing the field of alternative dispute resolution. Our CLE-eligible programs provide timely, practical, and innovative content designed to support professional growth, ethical practice, and improved access to justice. Courses may include credit in areas such as ethics and diversity, equity, and inclusion, helping attorneys remain informed and effective throughout their careers.


NYSDRA is also an approved CTLE provider through the New York State Education Department. Our CTLE-eligible programs offer meaningful professional development aligned with state requirements and tailored to educators, school leaders, and educational support professionals. These offerings emphasize restorative practices, conflict resolution skills, and culturally responsive approaches that strengthen professional practice and promote positive school climates and student well-being. CTLE hours may be applied toward the required 100 hours over a five-year registration period for eligible certificate holders.

New York State's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) is a professional requirement established by the New York State CLE Board to ensure that attorneys remain current with legal developments, ethical standards, and essential practice skills throughout their careers. Attorneys admitted to practice in New York must complete a specific number of CLE credit hours within defined compliance periods, including credits in ethics, diversity, equity and inclusion, and other key areas.



Continuing Teacher & Leader Education (CTLE)

The New York State Dispute Resolution Association is proud to be an approved CTLE provider, offering meaningful professional development opportunities that align with New York State Education Department requirements while supporting the integration of restorative practices and conflict resolution in educational settings. Our CTLE-eligible programs are thoughtfully designed to equip educators, school leaders, and support staff with practical tools, strategies, and insights that enhance both professional practice and student well-being.


New York State’s Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) requirement was established by the New York State Education Department to ensure that certified educators continue to grow professionally and remain current in their instructional knowledge and skills. Educators holding professional or Level III teaching certificates, school leader certifications, or teaching assistant Level III certifications must complete 100 hours of CTLE over a five-year period. Approved CTLE hours must include content that supports professional growth in areas such as classroom management, culturally responsive education, and instructional best practices.
