Jenn Gil Vinueza

Jenn Gil Vinueza (she/ella) graduated from the University of Vermont in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources with a focus on Indigenous Ecological Knowledge and sustainable community development. She is currently a second year Master of Social Work student at Columbia University. Jenn’s work in restorative justice comes from a medley of her academic background and passion for collective healing.

Jenn currently serves as a restorative justice practitioner and senior facilitator at the Center for Justice Innovation in New York City. Her role is to facilitate pre-plea and post-plea restorative justice interventions for misdemeanor and felony cases in the Manhattan Criminal and Supreme Courts. She feels honored to witness people’s humanity and hopes to continue her career in restorative justice with future plans of implementing ecotherapy tools to her practice.
