About  Love Odih Kumuyi

Love Odih Kumuyi is a culture transformation leader, executive coach, and conflict mediator who brings a unique global perspective to organizational development and peacebuilding. As founder and CEO of UNSILOED since 2017, she specializes in creating psychologically safe cultures of collaboration through dialogue, data-driven insights, and interactive learning experiences.


Kumuyi's extensive background spans international development, higher education administration, and legal practice. She served as Associate Dean for Conflict Resolution Services and Co-Chair of the Bias Assessment & Response Team at Cornell University, where she was appointed by the university president following a series of campus incidents. In this role, she rewrote university policy definitions for bias incidents and protected identities, developed comprehensive training programs for over 1,000 campus community members, and facilitated multi-stakeholder dialogues addressing complex bias and conflict situations.

Her international experience includes consulting work with the United Nations Development Programme on conflict prevention, peacebuilding, and human rights initiatives across multiple regions. She has contributed to strategic planning for programs in fragile states, co-authored reports on preventing violent extremism, and supported capacity-building efforts across Africa, the Middle East, and the Caribbean.


As Associate Professor of Peace, Justice & Conflict Transformation Studies at Pace University, Kumuyi developed innovative curriculum combining theory and practice in conflict transformation. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Mediation Center of Dutchess County and currently serves on the Board of the New York State Dispute Resolution Association.


Kumuyi holds multiple advanced certifications including IDI Qualified Administrator, Psychological Safety Certified Partner & Coach, and Certified Talent Optimization Partner. She is a TEDx speaker, certified mediator, and licensed attorney admitted to practice in Jamaica and New York.


Her educational background includes a Master's degree in International Development, Peacebuilding, and Gender Studies from New York University (Dean's Honor Roll), a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London (Honors), and Bar Professional Postgraduate Studies from Norman Manley Law School, where she received the Highest Academic Award of Merit.



Kumuyi continues her work as a Human Rights Dialogue Facilitator with the New York City Commission on Human Rights, bridging ideological divides through innovative programs like the 100 Cups of Coffee Project. Her multidisciplinary approach combines legal expertise, international development experience, and deep knowledge of organizational psychology to help individuals, teams, and institutions navigate complex challenges while promoting equity and inclusion.
