Lynne Ronesi is a Program Associate with the New York State Dispute Resolution Association (NYSDRA), where she manages the ACCES-VR and Early Intervention Mediation Programs and leads NYSDRA’s organizational communications. In this role, she supports statewide mediation services by coordinating program operations, strengthening communication strategies, and assisting with the development and delivery of NYSDRA’s training initiatives.
Lynne brings more than three decades of experience as an educator, writing consultant, and communications specialist. Prior to joining NYSDRA, she served as a university writing professor in the United States and the Middle East, including fifteen years on the faculty of the American University of Sharjah, where she also coordinated the University Writing Center, developed academic programs, and organized regional professional conferences. Her academic work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes, and she has presented internationally on writing pedagogy and higher education.
In addition to her academic career, Lynne has worked as a consultant supporting professional and organizational communication, including writing strategy, editing, messaging, and project development.
Lynne holds a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Science in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the State University of New York at Albany, and a Bachelor of Arts in French Linguistics and Literature, magna cum laude, also from SUNY Albany.
She lives in the Capital Region and enjoys reading, hiking, and exploring narrative writing.
