"ADR in Guardianship Proceedings: What does that look like?"
This program considers the suitability of various types of alternative dispute resolutions mediums during all phases of a guardianship proceeding,
before, during and after a proceeding has been commenced as well as after any court proceeding concludes. The program will look at best practices for resolving litigation, promoting fair and expeditious resolution of proceedings and reducing stress on individuals, families, guardians and the courts. Goals: To increase understanding of guardianship proceedings in the professional ADR community; to expand the use of ADR in guardianship proceedings; to demonstrate practical uses of ADR in guardianship disputes.
