About Orla Connolly

Orla Connolly serves as Case Coordinator at the EAC Network, where she specializes in child custody and visitation case coordination at the Long Island Dispute Resolution Center. In this role, she manages cases involving family mediation while utilizing skills in crisis assessment, conflict resolution, and mediation coaching. Her work includes child abuse and neglect screening as well as comprehensive program coordination.


Connolly brings valuable experience in diversity and cultural awareness to her ADR practice, having served as a Diversity Dialogs Affiliate during her university years, where she focused on bias training and cultural awareness programming. This background enhances her ability to work effectively with diverse populations in mediation settings.


She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Stony Brook University, with a minor in Hispanic Languages & Literature. Her academic background included study abroad in Barcelona, Spain, which strengthened her cross-cultural communication skills and cultural awareness—assets that serve her well in mediation practice.


Connolly has completed Part 146 Basic Mediation Training through the EAC Network, providing her with the foundational skills necessary for effective mediation practice. Her combination of psychological training, cultural competency, and specialized mediation education positions her to effectively serve families navigating custody and visitation disputes.



Her commitment to service and leadership, demonstrated through various volunteer and leadership roles during her academic career, continues to inform her approach to helping families resolve conflicts through mediation.
